Kendrick Lamar's New Album 'The Heart Part IV' Direct Diss To Big Sean?

Kendrick Lamar is arguably one of the greatest lyricists in the music industry today. Numerous rappers have cited Kendrick Lamar as the savior of the rap world due to his epic verse and interesting style.

Kendrick Lamar And Big Sean’s Beef

The feud between Kendrick Lamar and Big Sean is still not clear. Although there are some speculations that the beef started last 2013, few fans are still not convinced about it. For those who doesn’t remember, here is a quick recap on how it started. When Big Sean dropped the critically acclaimed song “Control”, the music world were stunned. However, it is not because of Big Sean but for Kendrick Lamar’s epic verse.

Kendrick Lamar didn’t only drop names but he revealed how these big names got their fame in the first place. The song was so great but the recognition was not directed to Big Sean. There is a golden rule in creating music with other artists - the singer who owns the song should own it not the one who is making a cameo appearance. That is exactly what happened with Kendrick Lamar and Big Sean. Multiple radio stations tried to get the real score between the two artists but none of them really wants to talk about.

New Album A Direct Diss?

However, based on the songs that were released by Kendrick Lamar and Big Sean, they seem to trade shots already. With the recent release of Kendrick Lamar’s new album “The Heart Part IV”, one song definitely stands out. “Humble” just made the airwaves and again, Kendrick Lamar showed its uncanny talent. Fans are glued to a specific verse of Kendrick Lamar which is often used by Big Sean. On the same song, Lamar keeps reiterating those words and convincingly mocking Big Sean’s rapping style.

There is still no confirmation on whether or not this was a direct diss to Big Sean. Fans are divided when it comes to the song or the album in total. Big Sean isn’t the only one who has a “beef” with Kendrick Lamar but also The 6th God, Drake.
