For Honor Update: Player Pool Decline Continues, New Mode To Arrive

Almost all For Honor fans know that the game, in terms of player pool, is on a steady decline. This is despite the major changes and/or updates Ubisoft brought to either fix or improve the game. Meanwhile, the studio has just recently confirmed the upcoming arrival of a brand new mode.

According to WWG, Ubisoft's history in developing games is once again apparent in its latest title For Honor. That the latter is actually experiencing the same horrors Tom Clancy's The Division experienced in the past. Fortunately for the shooter game, it managed to come on top following a couple of updates and contents from the studio. The fighting title, on the other hand, is on a gradual plummet.

It is worth noting that just a couple of a days ago, the studio introduced a handful of upgrades to For Honor. All of these, obviously, were meant to fix the issues and/or bugs players have reported. The connectivity issues were fixed while the anti-cheat system was upgraded. Add to this the watered-down version of the micro transactions meant to at least capture the interest of the players. These, among others, were developed specifically to bring the game's momentum back to where it belong.

Sure, there are For Honor players who, until now, continue to be grateful with what Ubisoft did. However, for the other fans, these were not just enough. Perhaps they did not find the upgrades or improvements worthwhile, or in a sense, they have lost all hopes. This is why the player pool of the game continues to spiral down, with numbers continuing to decrease as each day passes by.

SegmentNext, on the other hand, reports that the highly anticipated update 1.05 is about to arrive. It is to be expected this week, with a promise of (another) handful features. Among the most talked about here is a Colorblind mode, though it's slated to be added to the game next month.

Everything about the forthcoming update remains a mystery, as Ubisoft has kept the curtains down for the meantime. However, since it's slated to arrive within this week, then it's very likely for the studio to reveal more key information about it.
