Reportedly, we'd expect a launch event for the upcoming flagship killer in May or June 2017, and an on-sale date no later than June/July 2017. Another highly anticipated device, the Google Pixel 2, is expected to be launched in October 2017 while Samsung's latest Galaxy S8 continues to impress a refreshing design and enhanced experience.

In terms of camera, it is expected to get a 23-megapixel dual-lens camera with optical image stabilization and a 16MP front camera. As for the OS, Oneplus is set to run Android nougat. Its Rumored price is under $500.
Google Pixel 2 Possible Specs
Google Pixel 2 is set to feature an OLED display, curved with "Infinity Displays." Powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 Pro SoC processor, 6GB of RAM. The next Google phone will be the first to ship with Android 8.0 or Android 0. More so, Google is gearing out on the device's camera as the current smartphone's camera has been well reviewed and tagged as one of the best cameras across the industry. It'll feature water resistant and Qualcomm's QuickCharge 3.0 feature with USB-C. We might also see a 4K display on the Pixel 2, Daydream ready and Quick Charge 4.0. Google Pixel 2 might come with a $50 price increase. The current 32GB Pixel phone price tag starts at $650.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Specs And Features
Samsung Galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch QHD Super AMOLED display. Galaxy S8 is powered by Qualcomm's powerful Snapdragon 835 SoC in the US, and Exynos 8895 SoC for international countries with 4GB of RAM and with 64GB inbuilt storage, and also support expandable storage via microSD card up to 256GB. Interestingly, it comes with a 12-megapixel "Dual Pixel" rear camera with optical image stabilization and 8-megapixel front camera with autofocus. Under the hood is a 3000mAh. It is also expected to come with faster wireless charging and 64GB of UFS 2.0 storage. As for the software, Galaxy S8 runs Android Nougat and the price is between $750-$850 depending on the variant.
Price plays a major role in the whole comparison. But while keeping the track record of these three companies in mind, one can be sure that the Samsung Galaxy S8 is way too expensive. Clearly, OnePlus 5 comes with a much cheaper price yet still powerful enough to truly take on Google Pixel 2 and Samsung S8.
