'Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen' Arriving To PS4, Xbox One This Fall

At last, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is coming to Xbox One and PS4. Capcom re-released this title over a year ago on PC. It took the game publisher a long time to announce that it will release this title on the two competing platforms later this year.

This Could Be A Worldwide Release

Previously, Capcom announced that Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen will be released on PS4 and Xbox One in Japan. Later on, it followed up this announcement with the confirmation that the title will also launch in the West and apparently the rest of the world.

Capcom made the announcement on its Twitter account. Capcom's announcement was really very simple. It urged fans of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen to reclaim their hearts in the epic Action RPG which is coming to PS4 and Xbox One this fall.

The Game's Fifth Year Anniversary

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen was originally launched in May 2012. So, this year will be the fifth anniversary of the title. An improved version was released in April of the same year. This enhanced version came with new quests to explore and new dungeons. It was regarded as the definitive edition of the title.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen was well-received by the gaming industry. This induced Capcom to release an MMO for the video game. However, the title was only made available in Japan. The PC version of the video game was only launched last year, and Capcom didn't seem to be intent on launching it in the West. This version was also able to attain critical success.

This Could Be A Remastered Version

Aside from its release date, Capcom did not provide any details about the new Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. This lack of info led gamers to speculate that this could be the remastered version that PC players received in January 2016. They believe this is possible because work in adding a higher frame rate and a 4K resolution was already done.
