'Rick And Morty' Season 3 Episode 2 Expected To Air This July; Summer In Danger And Jerry Moves Out

Adult Swim surprised fans this year when it unexpectedly aired the official first episode of “Rick and Morty” Season 3. However, it will be months before they release the rest of the season.

The first episode of the new season of “Rick and Morty” was released on April 1 and it showed Rick escaping the grasp of the federation through his tricks. It was an episode that revealed how it all began and introduced several possible stories that the next episodes will pick up. Rick’s past and mental state, Jerry and Beth getting divorced, Summer and Morty being pawns, and the appearance of Phoenix Person are the highlights of that episode.

Adult Swim announced that “Rick and Morty” Season 3 will return in fall, therefore, fans are expecting that the second episode will be aired in July 2017. Not much is known about the next episode except that it is titled “Rickmancing the Stone” and it has been written by Jane Becker. One of the writers for the said animated show hinted thru Twitter that the third season will be the best so far.

“Rick and Morty” Season 3 Episode 1 left off with hints that Jerry will most likely be gone for the season. In the last scenes, Rick revealed to Morty that Jerry crossed him and he did everything to drive away Jerry. Rick succeeds in doing that when Beth and Jerry decide to divorce, however, the process has not yet been finalized.

Aside from that, early details suggest that Summer will be in danger and Morty seeks help from Rick to save him. Rick may have never said that he loved his grandchildren but the first episode of “Rick and Morty” Season 3 revealed that he once had a heart and even suggested that he valued his grandkids after going all through the trouble to save them from the other Ricks. The second episode is rumored to be another rescue mission, which will probably involve the Phoenix Person.
