Pokemon GO Reveals Feature Pokemon for September 2023 Community Day

Pokemon GO announced that Grubbin, the Larva Pokemon, will be featured at the September 2023 Community Day.

What to Expect at the September Community Day 

The Pokemon Company and Niantic are known for hosting Pokemon GO Community Day events to celebrate the success of the game and give back to its players. During the event, Pokemon GO players will have the opportunity to get boosted encounter rates, reward drops, and even special field research. 

Grubbin will reportedly appear more frequently in the Pokemon GO wild on September 23, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. Although most bonuses will be activated during the three-hour event period, trade discount will remain active until 10:00 pm local time. 

Lucky players has the chance to encounter a shiny Grubbin during the event. In addition, the players can also receive 3x XP for catching Pokemon, activated Lure Modules and incense, and more. 

All About Grubbin 

According to Pokemon GO hub, Grubbin is a bug type Pokemon that can be boosted with rain. He has the ability to evolve into Charjabug and into Vikavolt for 125 candy in total. 

During the event, Vikavolt's exclusive attack, Volt Switch, can be earned by the players. In addition, Charjabug will appear during four-star raids which can guarantee some bonuses for the players. However, Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes are needed to join the raids.
