"Borderlands 3" will come with a true open world, continuing the trend of previous games such as "Grand Theft Auto" and "Fallout." Although no specific details were given, some are expecting  a massive enhancement in the interactive nature and the environment of the upcoming game.

The "Borderlands 3" is currently being developed as confirmed by Gearbox Software. In fact, a lot of fans have been expecting for either a preview or a teaser of the upcoming role-playing-first-person shooter game at the recently held E3 2016. However, the "Borderlands" team reportedly did not appear at the event.

Nevertheless, "Borderlands 3" fans remain extremely excited about the details regarding the popular video game franchise. With that, a number of rumors have appeared recently that provide some information while the game is in the works.

"Borderlands 3" is also believed to have improved gameplay, which is a great news, because any type of improvement from a previous game will be very interesting. However, no specific details are also provided. Nevertheless, the game developers are expected to add some new excellent features in the much awaited game.

Meanwhile, Xbox One UK mentioned in a released statement that Gearbox Software appears to focus on one of the studio's latest IP's "Battleborn", which makes it seem like they have not even started working on "Borderlands 3" yet. According to reports, Battleborn has suffered due to lack of PC players from the moment its rival game "Overwatch" was launched.

"Borderlands 3" is reportedly arriving, but the fans should wait for more updates or release dates until Gearbox Software has turned its attention back to the game and work on its third sequel, Mobile & Apps reported.
