Following her alleged split with husband Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner has teased reporters about her love life recently. And much to their surprise, the actress claims to be dating Brad Pitt. Is there any truth to it?

On Monday, the 44-year-old "Alias" alum was out for a cup of coffee with a friend in Los Angeles when a group of paparazzi started following them. The actress apparently trolled the pesky cameraman by teasing she had a new man. To add more to the fun little stunt, Garner revealed, "Brad and I are dating,"

The stunned paparazzi, who was at a loss for words, pressed further by asking, "You're dating Brad, uh, Pitt?" To which Garner replied with a smile and a more teasing, "Yeah, isn't it great?"

Trying to pry more out of Garner, another paparazzi trailed behind her as she walked back to the car. "Congratulations on you and Brad!" the cameraman said. Garner responded with a thumbs up and waved before getting into a black Range Rover.

Although it seems like Garner was only making fun out of the situation, some people think that it is actually quite possible considering that the two just recently parted ways with their respective partners.

To recall, the "Miracles From Heaven" star and her now estranged husband, Ben Affleck, ended their 10-year marriage in June 2015. Despite the split, it was revealed that the two are in no rush to finalize the divorce and remain amicable as they co-parent their three children - Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4.

On the other hand, the controversial ex-couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has recently reached a temporary agreement regarding the custody of their kids - Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8. Jolie will get full physical custody of all their kids while Pitt was granted visitation rights only.
