Destiny: Rise Of Iron News: Festival Of The Lost October Release Update; Bungie Brews The Halloween Event Year 3

Destiny: Rise of Iron's Festival of the Lost has been teased anew to return this year and there's a lot to expect from the game. For one, Bungie is reportedly preparing for the upcoming event which will likely fall around the end of October.

As many Destiny fans would know, the game held the first Festival of the Lost event in 2015. The Halloween-themed event last year opened on Oct. 26 (Monday) and ended on Nov. 09 (Monday). If Bungie is brewing in the lab the same pattern with last year's, Destiny: Rise of Iron's Festival of Lost for this year should begin on Oct. 24 (Monday) and end by Nov. 7 (Monday).

These reports, however, should be taken with a pinch of salt for now as Bungie has not yet issued any official statement regarding the return of the event.

What Festival Of The Lost Year 3 Offers?

Festival of the Lost basically is a Halloween affair Destiny held for the first time in 2015. It observes the spirits of the dead and their sacrifices. As Bungie puts it: "We laugh in the face of Death"

What Makes Festival Of The Lost Different This Year?

If Bungie really is working Festival of the Lost in the pipeline, what should this year bring for Destiny fans? Of course, more surprises and rewards that are up for grabs. Reports say that the developer assured "gamers will be able to enjoy races and festivals." That sounds too general as of now but Bungie will certainly be releasing updates anytime soon.

Last year, the Festival of the Lost event brought a ton of treats from Bungie that include a wide variety of new masks, new Crucible maps and festival candies. On top of these, Tess Everis had new Legendary dances in Eververse as well as holiday emotes.

That's all for now for the updates of Destiny: Rise of Iron's Festival of the Lost event. Expect more details to surface in the coming days.

Destiny: Rise of Iron is available on PlayStatation 4 and Xbox One.
