Following the confirmation of Rockstar Games that Red Dead Redemption 2 is officially coming out in Fall 2017, new details of the game have been unlocked. For one, the new major characters have been unveiled despite Rockstar keeping mum about it.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has taken the gaming department by storm following the sequel announcement for release. Other fans have been wanting to know who the new major characters are and the storyline. In a Reddit post submitted by Bluesaber80, he was able to unlock the mystery behind the silhouette of three men shown in the first official trailer of the game.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Main Characters

According to BlueSaber80, the main characters are John Marston and his mates from the past, Bill and Dutch. A report revealed a tiny speck of the gameplay though - that Bill and Dutch have to be taken down before the player can reunite with his family. John Marston is a former fugitive whose son and wife have been taken hostage by authorities in exchange of his service as a hitman. He will set out to bring justice to three of his fellows at the gang he was with before.

As of this writing, the Reddit post gathered already 428 comments from both fans and detractors. One of the most popular comments was submitted by Pokemansparty expressing his doubts over the ability of other characters to fight against John.

Rockstar Games was admired for giving a vast world of exploration in the game which will certainly make players want to discover to the ends.
