TNA For Sale: WWE Is The Frontrunner To Buy Its Competition

TNA Impact used to be a great company with innovative styles and super athletic wrestlers. Now, they might be facing the same fate like WCW.

TNA Under Huge Financial Crisis And Poor TV Ratings

It is no secret that TNA is suffering right now from both financial crisis and TV ratings. Billy Corgan voiced out about the current situation of the company and it's getting uglier everyday. Corgan and Dixie Carter as everybody knows has unhealthy relationship. The two are battling for a position in TNA and their feud is already forwarded to the court. Yesterday, there was a hearing about the current dilemma they have and as per reports, Corgan was so animated about the direction of TNA.

The partnership of the frontman of The Smashing Pumpkins Billy Corgan and Dixie Carter worked fine but for the last two months it was horrific. Now, Corgan is claiming that the company is on a financial disaster and he's blaming Carter. The issue escalated when a lot of wrestlers told the media that they are underpaid. Most of them however, claimed that they were never paid. These caused a lot of wrestlers to either move to other company or voice their frustrations through social media. All of them are upset but since they are still in a contract, they have to wait for it to end until the can make a move.

Fans Switch To WWE Than Stick To TNA

Their TV ratings are so bad that most of their loyal fans opted to watch WWE, Lucha Underground or the great indie show - Ring of Honor. Amidst the dilemma, some fans are still willing to watch TNA. They still have some wonderful promos to watch, like the Hardy boys who reinvented themselves from an enigmatic high flying act to a dark, manipulative, truth seeking wrestlers(somehow compared to the Wyatt family of WWE).

The result of yesterdays hearing is not that great. TNA accused Billy Corgan as not a saviour but a loan shark who is there for money. Right now, we are not yet sure on when are they going to sell TNA but WWE is the frontrunner to buy the company.
