Skyrim Special Edition: Five Treasure Maps And Where To Find The Treasures

Treasure Maps are scattered throughout Skyrim. Each of these maps leads to a place where precious items can be found. This guide will help you locate some of those maps as well as the treasures' locations.

Skyrim Treasure 1. Follow the dirt path until it meets the cobblestone road after leaving Helgen and splitting ways with Ralof or Hadvar at the beginning of the game. Once you reach the cobblestone road, turn left. Now, just follow the road until you see a sign with directions to Riverwood, Helgen, and Falkreath and take the first left after this sign. Look to your left while walking down the path and you'll see bandits in the small camp. The map is in one of them. The treasure location of this map is across the river in the Riverwood. The chest is in the huge tree trunk lying down across the river.

Skyrim Treasure 2. The second treasure map in Skyrim can be found in the knapsack in Journeyman's Nook. Its treasure is found in the Valtheim Tower east of Whiterun. The chest is on the rocks next to the river east of the keep.

Skyrim Treasure 3. Another treasure map can be found inside a chest in Riverside shack. The treasure location is on the Solitude Lighthouse. Just follow the shoreline around the northeast side of the said lighthouse located northeast of Solitude. The treasure chest should be behind the rock on the shore.

Skyrim Treasure 4. The fourth treasure map is inside a chest near the bandit chief in Redoran's Retreat. The location of the treasure is behind Pelagia Farm southwest if Whiterun. Face the front of the windmill and from there, go south up the hill. Once you reach a dark snow path, move west. Keep going until you see the chest at a small bush covered with snow.

Skyrim Treasure 5. At the end table in the bedroom of Angi's Camp is another treasure map. It's designated treasure is found near the base off Bard's Leap Summit. It is located at the very base underwater where the falls meet the river behind the waterfall.

There are seven other treasures all over Skyrim. You can read Winston Wolfe's guide for more. Note that you cannot find the treasures without having read the maps. Maps do not need to be in the inventory but you must have read them or else, treasure won't spawn.
