There's no stopping Supercell from releasing yet another update for Clash of Clans. It's believed to be arriving sometime next month, just in time for the holiday season. While there's no certainty of its exact release date, it's expected to introduce a couple of hefty features. Here's everything about it for now.
Speculations suggest that the next update for the hit mobile game is intended to liven the competition against Niantic's Pokemon GO. Obviously, the latter is dominating the mobile game industry, as more people are playing all over the world. But of course, that doesn't entirely exclude COC from the picture.
According to Neurogadget, the forthcoming Clash of Clans December update will bring a brand new gameplay. It will reportedly allow players to repair their very own damaged shipwrecks. Moreover, the supposed feature will let them earn vast resources -- including gems, yes -- simply by rebuilding the destroyed structure.
Along with it, a Christmas event is brewing. The same with the aforementioned update, this also remains unofficial. Nevertheless, it's only expected from Supercell, as most studios would want a gig for such occasion. With that being said, players can expect a boost in XPs and a leverage on using resources.
The next Clash of Clans update has since been deemed as a significant one. That's because it can be a make and break for the title considering the relentless domination of Pokemon GO in the scene. The formidable popularity of the titular augmented reality game is definitely grinding the gears of Supercell.
One of the things the forthcoming event will introduce is a new battle feature. Here, fans can expect more heroes and/or troops to arrive. Also, it could be the introduction of the rumored water-based infrastructure called shipwreck. The brand new update is also believed to center around the Red Barbarian King, a new hero that has been in the rumor mill for quite some time now.
It's worth noting that Clash of Clans recently received a new update, which was released sometime this month. It's said to be patch in preparation for the major one this December. It looks like things are starting to be interesting once again.
