'Winds Of Winter' News And Updates: George R.R. Martin To Kill Of Jon Snow In 6th Installment Of 'A Song Of Ice And Fire'?

There have already been many reports regarding the upcoming release of the sixth installment of "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R.R. Martin entitled "Winds of Winter." Many have claimed that it will be released before the premiere of "Game of Thrones" season seven, and some also claim that Jon Snow will meet his death in the upcoming book.

All Major Characters Of "A Song Of Ice And Fire" To Die In "Winds Of Winter?"

There have been reports claiming that in a previous interview with "A Song of Ice and Fire" author George R.R. Martin, he allegedly claimed that there will be no survivors in the characters during the "Winds of Winter" installment. Thus, this means that the most beloved characters of the fans will eventually meet their death before the seventh book installment, "A Dream of Spring." However, there has been no official confirmation to this spoiler thus it is safe to take it lightly.

Martin also reportedly claimed that there were many changes to the storyline of "Winds of Winter" that he initially planned out. Meaning, there is a possibility that some major characters will in fact be spared. This could explain the extreme delay of the release of the book, with the fans having waited six years already for the book to come. They are definitely hoping that the change Martin meant was a chance for Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen to survive in the installment.

Rickon Stark To Be Alive In "Winds Of Winter," Trying To Survive In An Island

In other spoilers for the upcoming "Winds of Winter" storyline, it has been speculated that Rickon Stark is still alive in the book and is currently hiding in a mysterious island to survive. This is as opposed to the HBO series "Game of Thrones" wherein his character was brought back from the dead just to be killed again. The theory states that Rickon is already the last in their family's bloodline, wherein if he dies, it is already the end of their family's rule in the north.

There is no confirmation to these theories, and they are mere analogies made by the fans as they wait for the release date of George R.R. Martin's "Winds of Winter."
