Pokemon Go Update: Niantic Should Consider Rework On Ditto's Visual Transformation

Ditto has been introduced and added to Pokemon Go lately and fans were excited to see this mimic Pokemon and how will it work in the game. However, some players are concerned about encountering the Pokemon in the wild. As previously reported, Niantic did not put any visual indication of having a Ditto-feel in its transformation ability. That means, players only chance of knowing that they encountered Ditto is by capturing the nearby Pokemon and wait for the big reveal.

According to the report from Otakukart, Ditto's original animation on transformation has a slight difference on its appearance particularly the eyes and mouth areas. As seen on the animated series and previous Pokemon games, Ditto can transform into anything, however, it cannot mimic the face of the Pokemon that it copied. Apparently, some Pokemon Go trainers were hyped regarding this revelation of Ditto not only due to its unique ability but also the way it was being introduced brings lots of excitement.

Based on the report, most of the Pokemon fans still love to see Ditto's famed face despite of the current system that brings more thrill during encounter. Apparently, it was believed that Niantic is unlikely going to consider changing the visual transformation of Ditto in the game. However, if that happens, it would be much easier for the fans to distinguish whether they have encountered a Ditto or not.

Meanwhile, it was expected that the major updates such as Generation 2 will arrive soon. Though, fans predicted that Niantic will be rolling out some minor updates first. Generation 2 update is most likely to arrive in next month's update where it will bring a new set of Pokemon to catch and a more exciting evolutions from the first gen of Pokemon. In addition, a Shiny Ditto might be seen during this said update. On the other hand, the change of visual transformation of Ditto is not really a big for most of the Pokemon Go players.
