'Supernatural' Season 12 Spoiler: Welcome To Hell, Lucifer Arrives In The House

"Yes, and you'd do anything to save him, and he'd do anything to save you, and that is the problem! Because of this, you're so overcome by guilt that you can't stand to lose Dean again, and he could never lose you. And so instead of choosing the world, you choose each other, no matter how many innocent people die!," one of the greatest quotes by Lucifer.

Supernatural Season 12 Episode 7: Rock Never Dies

I know that this is the title of the episode but in real life, rock really never dies. Maybe the most intriguing episode of Season 12. There are a lot of plots discussed during Episode 7 so, let us go ahead and check them out one by one. Lucifer needs a new vessel. It is a rule of thumb that for angels or demons to control a living creature, their body must be strong and capable once they will take control of their bodies.

Actor Rick Springfield made his debut as Lucifer's new vessel. He was able to manage and portray the role properly but fans were asking for more. Yes, he was scary and imposing in the first half of the episode. However, it died down quickly. The Lucifer that we know doesn't give a damn on what we feel and what we think. The Lucifer that showed up is more of a cry baby or whiner. Nevertheless, props to Rick Springfield on his first attempt as Lucifer.

Going back to the main plot, Lucifer looks to reunite a rock band or devour them, depending on how you see it. He then have snapped his fingers explode to Castiel. He wasn't that vicious as it was portrayed before, he was satisfied throwing him around hitting him with an old guitar. The beatdown or showdown at the end didn't really provide us clarity about anything. It lacks timing, buildup and Lucifer wasn't scary enough.

Supernatural Season 12 Episode 8: Lucifer Is In The White House

We are almost in our mid season finale and we haven't really enjoy most of the episodes. Hopefully they start kicking in, in this episode. As per the official synopsis, the most powerful politician on Earth seems to have made a deal with the devil himself, Lucifer. Although it was not stated properly on what the deal is all about, everybody is in a big trouble especially when Lucifer has control with The United States President. Sam and Dean will try to end Lucifer but it will not be enough.
