Uncharted 4 Survival Mode Now Live With 3.8GB Patch; Get The Full Details Here

Developer Naughty Dog has detailed what players can expect from Uncharted 4 Survival Mode that is now available. The patch that will be bringing loads of new content will be free to all who currently own the game. Here are a few things to note in order to prepare.

During the Twitch livestream yesterday, Naughty Dog revealed that the Uncharted 4 Survival Mode patch is at 3.8GB. The massive size is understandable since players will be getting equally massive content, but they should be prepared for a long download time. As of this writing, the update is finally live.

Uncharted 4 Survival Mode Now Live; What To Expect?

The 3.8GB Uncharted 4 patch brings about the new Survival mode that can accommodate one to four players. Cooperation is a must as they will have to survive 10 stages, each with five waves of enemies. According to the developer, a wave may take hours to finish. Thankfully, players can save the game and come back to it later.

Uncharted 4 Survival comes in five difficulties: Easy, Moderate, Hard, Crushing and Hardcore. Though players can start with Easy, difficulty increases with each wave. The objectives of the co-op mode can also be tweaked to fit the players' play style.

What's Included In The Uncharted 4 Survival Patch?

Per the patch notes, the Uncharted 4 update also includes two new maps: Prison and Train Wreck. There are five Flashback weapons as well, along with 48 Character Skins, 40 Vanity Items, 10 Taunts and more. As expected, the Survival mode comes with new trophies.

Players should now take advantage of the permanent price reductions in Uncharted 4 patch 1.18.048. DLC chest prices have been reduced to as much as 300 Relics while Uncharted Point prices have been reduced to "Summer Sale levels (25 - 40 percent off)." The usual bug fixes and stability improvements are also included. The full details can be read here.
