‘Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization' Latest Update For 'Fighters Of The Blue Sky' Expansion Includes New Characters And More

Bandai Namco Entertainment has just revealed its latest update for “Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization”, which will be an upgrade of its most recent expansion pack. “Fighters of the Blue Sky”, the latest downloadable content in the said game will include several various features that players will truly appreciate and enjoy

Before anything else, the latest update for the free expansion pack “Fighters of the Blue Sky” shall reveal familiar characters from a previous title. From “Sword Art Online: Lost Song”, Rain and Seven will be joining the story once again for this video game. “Sword Art Online: Lost Song” was the third installment in the “Sword Art Online” video game series and was released initially for PlayStation 3 in March 2014 and was remastered for PlayStation 4 in November 2014.

Aside from characters reprising their roles, distinguishable upgrades have been made and adjusted in the said video game. Minor tweaks in the game include modifications to the player’s experience and various skills as well as the addition of a gallery mode. Along with these and the two additional characters, a new mode specifically player versus player (PVP) mode has been included and limit to leveling up has been increased up to level 80. New maps and stories have been added for players to further explore on more adventures.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization” is the fourth and latest installment of the video game franchise and has been released exclusively for PlayStation through the gaming consoles, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. After being made available worldwide in November 2016, the said game was favorably received, which triggered more content. Aside from “Fighters of the Blue Sky”, a new expansion called “Shrine Maiden of the Abyss” was also disclosed in a teaser and is set to be released next year.

The upcoming downloadable content will not be free unlike the first expansion and the cost ranges from $9 to $83, depending on the package purchased. “Shrine Maiden of the Abyss” will introduce three more chapters in the said role-playing video game.
