The full roster of heroes for NetherRealm's Injustice 2 is still a mystery at this point, but as the release date draws nearer, more characters are getting their reveals online. A new gameplay trailer has been released, and it showcases Green Arrow's femme fatale, Black Canary.

Black Canary

The trailer showcases all the different moves of Black Canary, and the clip starts out with her dialogue exchange with Deadshot and Blue Beetle. Her moves list looks to showcase her more street-type fighting style, but she also makes use of her classic Canary Cry - a powerful sonic blast that she can emit from her mouth.

Dinah Laurel Lance a.k.a. Black Canary is considered to be one of the earlier heroines to ever come to comics, and she can be considered on the same tier as Batgirl or Wonder Woman. Aside from her sonic powers, Canary is also an expert motorcyclist and gymnast. She also has skills when it comes to P.I. work, and she is considered to be one of the best martial artists in the DC Universe. Her signature look always has her wearing a leather jacket and fishnet stockings.

Rest Of The Roster

Aside from the Black Canary reveal, promo images have also been leaked for the members of the Injustice 2 roster, and fans can get a good first look at Bane, Poison Ivy and Braniac. Other images like Blue Beetle, Gorilla Grodd and the Flash have also leaked, but players have already seen a good chunk of them in previous promotional material.

As of now, the full roster still remains a mystery, but rumor has it that Injustice 2 will feature a handful of Batman rogues like Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze and Catwoman. There has also been speculation of the presence of Ra's al Ghul based on the cryptic dialogue that has come with the teaser trailers. Injustice 2 is set for a release this coming May 16.
