Nokia Lumia 620 Now Cheaper Than The Lumia 520

Nokia announced a pocket-friendly Windows Phone 8 (WP8) smartphone, the Lumia 620, in Dec. 2012 and the Lumia 520 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) earlier this year. The Lumia 620 is also an entry to mid-segment handset but has slightly better features than the Lumia 520; however, now the price of Lumia 620 has come down under the price of Lumia 520.

German online shop is offering the Windows Phone 8 (WP8)-powered Lumia 620 for only €189, which makes it even cheaper than the Nokia Lumia 520 which has a price tag of €199.

The Lumia 620 runs on Windows Phone 8 (WP8) and gives an opportunity to those smartphone users who are looking to experience a WP8 device at an affordable price.

The Nokia Lumia 620 packs in impressive features in its category. The smartphone sports a 3.8-inch WVGA display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. A 1Ghz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor powers the handset.

The handset is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and LED flash, and also has a VGA front-facing camera for video calls. The Lumia 620 also has 512MB RAM, 8GB of internal memory, expandable up to 64GB via microSD.

When compared to the Lumia 520, the Lumia 620 has Near-Field Communication (NFC) and a front-facing camera with LED flash.

The Lumia 620 may entice many customers looking for a feature-rich and pocket-friendly WP8 smartphone, and a waterproof cover may further increase the popularity of the handset.

The popularity of WP8 smartphones are increasing rapidly and the Lumia 620 and the Lumia 520 being entry to mid-level devices give an opportunity to users to experience the latest operating system without spending a lot of money.
