Final Fantasy XV Update: Why The Booster Pack DLC Is Disappointing

The Final Fantasy 15 Booster Pack DLC is now made available, and it only includes three items since its free Booster Pack has not been implemented yet. On the other hand, players think that this paid DLC is quite disappointing due to some reasons.

The paid Booster Pack+ of Final Fantasy 15 can now be accessed, and it will only offer three DLC equipments for the player. The Booster Pack+ so far includes Ragnarok (Sword, 158 Damage), Dragon Drain (Fishing Pole, 230 Defense, Blue Rod), and Avior (Reel, 280 Attack), according to The Bit Bag.

The Ragnarok sword that is included in the Final Fantasy 15 Booster Pack DLC can glow red in every battle. Although it has a fancy design, the Ragnarok sword does not have a good base damage stat thus making it a not-so-ideal weapon to use for the late and post-game battles. On the contrary, it has a flavor text that says "devastating warp strike". This statement has just been justified since the sword can allow the player to deal 9999 warp strike damage as often as possible. The Warp Strike animation and particle effects can change whenever the Ragnarok is used. Although it has a great potential, the Ragnarok can't be compared yet with the Zwill Crossblades in terms of overall damage and utility.

As of this time, the Dragon Drain and Avior fishing gear are the only ones that are useful for players who were not able to catch the larger fish or a better fishing gear yet. But both Dragon Drain and Avior have higher stats that can make catching larger or strong fishes at lot easier. The fishing gear upgrades are truly recommended since the larger fish has a tendency to test one's patience for a long time.
