Audi was already pretty cool after its product placement deal with Marvel featured Tony Stark tooling around in an A8. But the company has now stepped up its game with a nearly three-minute clip that features Zachary Quinto and Leonard Nimoy, both sort of reprising Spock.
The video ad is titled Zachary Quinto vs. Leonard Nimoy: "The Challenge." We don't want to give away too much of the ad's plot, but suffice it to say that it focuses around Old Spock and New Spock and a friendly wager involving a round of golf. Zachary Quinto's Spock takes his new, shiny Audi to the country club, while Leonard Nimoy's Spock travels around in a Mercedes Benz.
You can look forward to plenty of lens flares in the scenes with Zachary Quinto, and Leonard Nimoy delivers a rendition of his 1968 song, "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins."
