Fans were ecstatic when Platinum Games released NieR: Automata for PC. However, they have encountered technical issue that lead to their disappointment. Now, one eager fan has solved the problem by creating his very own mod.

Since Platinum Games has no plans on releasing a patch for NieR: Automata for PC, one fan has successfully created what he likes to call FAR or Fix Automata Resolution mod. According to Kotaku, the mod is about letting the players to play the game in 1080p resolution.

Other than fixing the resolution of 900p to 1080p, FAR mod also improved the lighting and shadows of NieR: Automata.  As per Twinfinite, the graphics are better compared to the previous images that players have been seeing while trying to enjoy the game.

In addition, some have commented that even the frame rates that were just 30fps before became 50-60 just by downloading the FAR mod for their PC version of NieR: Automata. With this, the user named Kaldaien might have saved NieR: Automata with his mod and is really deserving of the players' gratitude and accolades for sharing his creation.
