One of the things players love about GTA 5 are the updates brought to them courtesy of developer Rockstar Games. And unlike any other titles, the stuff are pretty much impressive. Let alone the fact that it's being done on a regular basis. Now, the studio is once again set to release a new content update for its titular title.
According to Express, the aforementioned GTA 5 update is expected to arrive within this week. It will be made available across all platforms -- namely, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. It's called the Gun Runner, which is expected to add a good number of interesting stuff.
Through the content update, GTA 5 players will get to experience new sets of vehicles. The interesting part here? Well, they are all equipped with weapons. That's right -- Rockstar has finally confirmed all the rumors about new vehicles with weapons arriving to the game and it's indeed happening via this upcoming update.
Apart from the ones mentioned above, new missions are also coming to the highly celebrated title. As of this writing, there is no exact date as to when this update will arrive. The only information confirmed is its arrival within the week. But with the days getting numbered, players might expect to hear a big announcement from the video game company sooner or later.
In the forum site of GTANetwork, it has been revealed that a network dependency update is coming to GTA 5. It is worth noting that this is different from the content update mentioned above. This, in particular, focuses on fixing all the network issues players have been complaining about. People on community have been clamoring about connectivity issues, in which, out of nowhere, they get logged out or kicked out.
The GTA 5 network update (1.0.1032.1), as soon as it is available, will allow the game to launch with no issues. It should be noted that this update is only meant to cover "the required dependencies" to allow proper launching. It is already live on the public stable channel. For players to acquire it, they simply need to execute the launcher and from there auto-update will populate.
