The latest installment of the “Fairy Tail” manga has just been released and fans are treated to not just one but two new chapters. The two new chapters have revealed revelations and confirmed tons of questions regarding the characters. However, things aren’t looking good when Zeref finally met Mavis.
Mavis And Zeref Finally Reunite
The highly anticipated reunion of Zeref and Mavis was finally featured in “Fairy Tail” Chapter 532 and in fact, the opening of the said chapter confirmed that the two were indeed lovers, explaining how they actually bore a son. Mavis was finally able to catch up to Zeref and Natsu’s fight, making it in time to stop Natsu from unleashing a huge attack on Zeref. Mavis pleads Natsu to calm down and begs Zeref to stop the ruckus for the sake of their relationship, revealing also that she has finally found a way to cure him of his immortality.
However, Zeref also had another plan so he seized that opportunity in “Fairy Tail” Chapter 532 to unleash Neo Eclipse and sucked every ounce of magic from Mavis, leaving her unconscious and barely alive. While Zeref was putting his plan in action, Acnologia is still chasing Christina because of Wendy. Anna decides to stick to their plan of having Acnologia trapped in the Ravines of Time but she must first open its sealed gates before that can happen.
Zeref Kills Natsu? Lucy Rewrites E.N.D. To Save Natsu
“Fairy Tail” Chapter 533 revealed Zeref's transformation into the White Mage when he put the Neo Eclipse plan in play. Absorbing Mavis’s magic has enabled him to acquire the Fairy Heart, which is Fairy Tail Guild’s greatest secret and the guild’s ultimate weapon. Enraged with what Zeref did to Mavis, Natsu attacks him with the power of the dragons and obliterates him, however, Zeref reformed himself after the attack and came back in one piece.
Zeref explained that there was no point in attacking him because the true power of the Fairy Heart makes him control time and space. He added that the Fairy Heart was an unlimited source of magic power, calling it the pinnacle of magic. He suddenly reaches for Natsu, piercing his hand through Natsu’s heart and making it the conclusion of "Fairy Tail" Chapter 533.
While this is happening, Gray and Lucy, who were nearby, felt the power of the White Mage. Determined to save Natsu, they decided to somehow rewrite E.N.D, which is Natsu’s story, to alter the events. When they opened E.N.D. earlier, they noticed that the words were so compressed that had to figure out a loophole to rewrite it.
