"Fairy Tail" Chapter 534 is supposed to be released on May 10, but the whole story was already spilled on the internet last week. Fans of the webcomic have then witnessed how Natsu gained consciousness after receiving fatal injuries, but Lucy, who is trying to save her through the Book of E.N.D. might suffer the devastating price.
The 534th chapter of "Fairy Tail" titled, "The Promised Gates" should not be released until next week because of a Japanese holiday, but it was still launched on the internet anyway. Fans have been worrying about the condition of Natsu who was pierced by a more powerful Zeref in a previous chapter. The leaked chapter of the manga has however proved his longer role in the arc as he regained his consciousness.
It can be recalled that Natsu is stopping Zeref from bridging the Space Between Time and Fairy Tail to find Makarov. Zeref has however received additional abilities from the Fairy Heart that Natsu, Happy, Lucy and Gray needed the help of the immortal spirits to get away. The reinforcements then block Zeref to give the mages time to find how they can save Natsu from the brink of death.
Lucy, Happy and Gray then watched the Book of E.N.D. losing some letters. The Celestial mage then realizes how to save Natsu, revealing to her mates that they have to re-write the letters. Lucy took the job of fixing the book but at the end of "Fairy Tail" chapter 534, she will be suffering the consequence of using the Book of E.N.D.
Predictions for "Fairy Tail" chapter 535 then have it that Lucy might turn into something evil or might even lose her life for rewriting the letters of the magical book. The spilled chapter ended with Lucy freezing and growing veins on her skin, which had Happy and Gray worrying about her. Fan theories also have it that Lucy succeeds at saving Natsu who will go on another attempt to stop Zeref and he is not stopping until the Black Wizard drops his goal to destroy the world.
Meanwhile, Jellal is still making himself a pawn to Acnologia to buy Anna some time to open the Space Between Time. The latter, however, proves himself more powerful, which makes Erza worried. She then checks on Anna's progress in opening the gate but to their dismay, the Space Between Time is not opening. Anna then suspects that someone might be keeping it shut. Her guess is actually accurate as Zeref is the one using the gate to get him to the dead Makarov.
Only little is known about "Fairy Tail" chapter 535. Fans will have to wait for its release to find out if Lucy survives and if Acnologia will be kept sealed inside the Space Between Time for good. "Fairy Tail" chapter 535 is slated to come out on May 17, but like chapter 534, it might also come out on the web earlier than expected.
