Lego video game fans will be happy to know that Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be released practically on all platforms. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the publisher of the video game, announced that it would be released on Nov. 14. The game will be playable on Xbox One, Windows PC, and PlayStation 4. A Nintendo Switch version will come later.

This Will Be An All-New, Original Video Game

According to the publisher, Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 will offer original and all-new adventures. It will bring together many heroes and villains from different realities and timelines. Gamers will fight a time traveler called Kang the Conqueror in the open hub world of Chronopolis. The name of the place gives a hint of what players can expect in this game.

Time Travel Will Be At The Center

Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 is centered on time travel. It gives players a choice to travel from Ancient Egypt or The Old West to future 2099 New York City. They can also choose to play iconic characters like the future 2099 Spider-Man or the past Cowboy Captain America. Other character options include members of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain Marvel, the Hulk, Doctor Strange, Thor and the Super Heroes and Super Villains of the franchise.

This Game Will Give Thrills and Excitement

Tom Stone, Managing Director of TT Games, revealed that Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 would include a four-player multiplayer mode. He added that this game also gives players the ability to manipulate time. With the addition of new characters and the infusion of popular Marvel icons in new guises, he hopes that this video game will thrill and excite Marvel and LEGO fans as well as newbies to the video game.

The short video clip below will give a peek as to what Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 has to offer. According to the publisher, a full-length trailer will be released on May 23. Aside from the PS4, Xbox One, PC versions, the publisher also promises that a Nintendo Switch version will be released on the holidays.
