LEGO Worlds Will Be Released On Nintendo Switch Soon

LEGO City Undercover will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, the PS4 and the Xbox One come spring this year. But there's another LEGO video game that is also coming to the Switch. The head designer of the video game said that LEGO Worlds will also be released on the Switch this year.

LEGO Worlds Will Launch On February 2017

Last November, IT Games, developer of LEGO Worlds and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that the video game is slated to launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on Feb. 21, 2017 in North America. The game will also debut in Europe on Feb. 24, 2017. Recently, Arthur Parsons, Head of Design for IT Games confirmed in a Twitter post that the game will be launched in the Switch as well.

LEGO Worlds has some similarities with Minecraft. Players in this game also will enjoy creating their own world. However, unlike Minecraft which uses 8-bit blocks, players in this game will use LEGO bricks. As soon as he has built his world, the player can then invite his friends to play with him online.

It Will Launch Ahead Of The Nintendo Switch Launch

Originally, LEGO Worlds was just limited to PC. Later, the game developer announced in November last year that it will have a PS4 version and an Xbox One version. The word about its release on the Switch came out from an interaction of Parsons with a fan of the video game. However, the game developer has not offered any further details regarding LEGO Worlds

It appears that the video game will launch ahead of the Nintendo Switch launch which is slated later in March 3, 2017. It is also not sure if this video game will be a launch game. Some believe that if it is, the announcement would have been made by now. Whatever the case, fans of LEGO video games will welcome the news that the upcoming game will be released soon.
