Fortnite Skywalker Week: Luke Leia, Han Solo Skins Released

Three iconic "Star Wars" characters have joined the popular video game Fortnite Battle Royal.

Epic Games just announced that it is fostering another major "Star Wars" collaboration, which brings Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, and Han Solo to the Fortnite Battle Royale, as per Engadget.

Fortnite Releases Luke, Leia, and Han Skins as Part of Skywalker Week

Players of the popular video game can now get the trio from the Fortnight Item Shop, as per Polygon. The release of the three characters is part of the game's so-called Skywalker Week.

You will find all three looks of Luke interesting. There is a version of Luke as a Tatooine farm boy, another one as Jedi Knight in black, and the third one as the hooded/cloaked Jedi.

Fortnite's quasi-cartoony character modeling matches each of Luke's three looks. The details of the costume nicely blend with the modeling of the character.

Leia also comes in three looks. One is in her original white gown, and the other two are in the masked and unmasked Boushh look that her character sports when she saved Han in "Return of the Jedi."

Meanwhile, just like Luke and Leia, Han also has three skins. However, you would notice that the only change between the two of them is the color of his pants.

In Han's third look, he is wearing the camouflage duster. Han wore the said costume when he led the strike team in the Battle of Endor.

In addition to the outfits of the character, you can also get Star Wars-themed pickaxes, gliders, and back blings.

Players can purchase some optional cosmetic items that come with each character. These items can be purchased separately.

For instance, Luke has his Training Remote back bling with him. According to GameSpot, players will also be able to purchase the Slugthrower Rifle pickaxe and X-34 Landspeeder glider.

Meanwhile, Leia has her R2-D2 back bling with her. Her Electrostaff pickaxe will be available as an additional purchase.

On the other hand, players will find the miniature Millennium Falcon as Han's back bling. His Vibro-staff pickaxe comes as a separate purchase.

Lucasfilm, Fortnite Collaborate to Bring Luke, Leia, and Han

This is just the latest edition of collaborations between Lucasfilm and Fortnite, which already brought numerous characters from "Star Wars" into the game.

Some of the characters are Mandalorian and Grogu, Rey, Finn, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Kylo Ren, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Zorii Bliss. Luke, Leia and Han are the newest Star Wars characters who become part of Fortnite.

"Star Wars" was written and directed by George Lucas. It was released on May 25, 1977.The film follows the story of Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill. Luke was caught in the conflict between the Empire and Rebel Alliance.

Audiences and critics both praised the film, eventually helping it turn into a successful franchise. Eventually, two sequels were made, "The Empire Strikes Back" in 1980 and "Return of the Jedi" in 1983.

Princess Leia Organa, played by Carrie Fisher, and Han Solo, played by Harrison Ford, also have significant roles in the original "Star Wars" trilogy.

A sequel trilogy was made by Disney between 2015 and 2019, featuring all three characters.
