Why The Nintendo Switch Makes 'The Legend Of Zelda: Breathe Of The Wild' Its Perfect Game

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been headlined to be the Nintendo Switch's launch title game, and as Nintendo suggests, the intention for the incorporation of the game is for it to be experienced and best enjoyed on the new Switch console. With that being said, here are some reasons why Switch will make Breath of the Wild a better game.

Varieties for Gameplay

The main feature of the Nintendo Switch is that it can be played at home as a console, as well as used on the go as a portable video game device. With this incorporated feature, the Breath of the Wild development team resorted towards designing some modes that would feature both short and long-term gameplay. The end result of their effort are the 'Dungeons' and 'Shrines,' where the former is a mode that intends to be the expansive campaign mode that everyone has expected, while the latter one is intended for side quests. These features offer players the complete freedom of enjoying the whole experience anytime, anywhere.

Cartridges Available!

The Nintendo Switch games will also be played with cartridges. The traditional console medium is a bit more costly for developers, but the benefits of having it seem to pay big dividends in Breath of the Wild. Having the cartridge feature also offers some new ways to play the game. Some much-needed control options will always be acceptable, as long as players also have the option to turn them off, which they absolutely can with the Nintendo Switch

An Unchanging Tradition

As much as Nintendo fans would truly love to assume that the Nintendo Switch will be as equal to or be better than the Xbox One or the PS4 in terms of raw horsepower and overall performance, which simply wouldn't be the case since a very expensive mobile processor will be needed, along with a significant cost to battery life. Instead, Nintendo sticks with what it traditionally has and will be incorporating some revolutionary features that would still separate the Switch among other giant console names.
