Pokemon Sun And Moon Release Update: How Should Pokemon Trainers Change Battle Strategies? Data Miners Didn't Know This!

Pokemon Sun and Moon is releasing soon, yet the Gen 7 fans have still a number of things that need to know. One of these is the fact that the Pokemon trainers should change battle strategies, as new attacks, abilities, Z-Moves and new Alola Forms have reportedly been implemented. However, data miners seem to be unaware of this.

Playing in a Singles Format, the Pokemon trainers in Pokemon Sun and Moon should opt for a Counter-Team style. With that, they can draft a team from the start of the season and stay with 11 to 12 Pokemon for about 12 to 16 weeks against a different coach per week. Then they face off against every coach, since they already know what Pokemon the trainers have, except for the moves and items.  The Format is expected to be very interesting when trainers throw in Z-Moves that are reported to change entirely the Singles Style and Counter-Team Formats.

Pokemon Sun and Moon trainers can also have a Swarpert against a Celebi in the Counter Format. According to reports, the Swampert cannot do much to a Celebi aside from using Punch. Also, the Pokemon trainers can use the Ice Z- Moves in order to single-shot the Celebi, which could mean a big change for Singles and Doubles. Although some players believe that going too in-depth with less knowledge of the base stats and move pools would be very difficult, it also appears that a likely new Pokemon may have a big impact.

Meanwhile, Pokemon Sun and Moon has now more than 800 Pokemon, making it more difficult to keep track of how to  perfect a team. Because of that, a Reddit user named richi3f reportedly created a Pokemon Team Planner to keep track of available Pokemon and help with the game strategy. According to reports, the Pokemon planner includes every available Pokemon that has not been discovered by data miners. However, other reports indicate that some filters may be used if players want to create a specific team. Watch Alola Forms and Z-Moves Revealed for Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon!
