Following the release of Capcom's brand new horror-survival title Resident Evil 7 demo to PlayStation 4, the company has recently announced that the Xbox One and PC version of the upcoming demo version of the game will be arriving soon. Sources said that it will include the fully updated version of Beginning Hour demo.
According to the report from Game Rant, the Beginning Hour Demo of Resident Evil 7 was announced during Sony's E3 2016 press conference this past summer. However, it was revealed that the standalone demo will be exclusive to PlayStation 4 owners only. Thankfully, the company has currently announced that both PC and Xbox One owners will get a glimpse of this challenging and creepy demo version.
Capcom has revealed it through a blog post stating that Resident Evil 7's Beginning Hour demo will be arriving to PC and Xbox One later this month. As reported, Xbox One owners will experience it much ahead than the PC as the game will be made available to download on Xbox One this coming Dec. 9 whereas the PC version will arrive on Dec. 19.
As reported, though PS4 players haveexperienced the demo first-hand, however, they only had the raw version. On the other hand, Xbox One and PC players will now receive the fully updated version and will be able to access the two different endings of the demo. That means they will be able to experience the stress PS4 players went through last summer figuring out the purpose of the dummy finger or axe.
Meanwhile, PlayStation 4 owners still hold advantage since they will be able to play the demo's virtual reality version which will not be available on both Xbox One and PC. Though both platforms may still receive the VR functionality of the game, it was reported to arrive with the full version of the game. In addition, it was worth noting that the PlayStation VR will have a 1-year timed exclusive before that will happen.
Resident Evil 7 will be available on Jan 24, 2017 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, Xbox One and PC.
