Splatoon 2 Update: New Weapons On Display, Old Weapons Upgraded

Arguably, Splatoon the perfect game regardless of the age. When it made its initial release last 2015, it brought back childhood memories and made kids among its players. The game is very exciting and it does bring a nostalgic feeling.

During the recent Nintendo Switch event, no one was expecting for this game to be included on their list. However, never say never as Nintendo proudly announced that Splatoon 2 is coming this summer. The hype didn’t stop there as they continued to spread the word last week at the Switch event in New York City.

Players were able to see a glimpse of what to expect on Splatoon 2 and they can’t wait to get hold of it. For those who were able to play this game before, basing on the trailer, Splatoon 2 doesn’t really differ from its predecessor. Graphics and gameplay look identically the same. But, we need to keep in mind that the developers of this game are fond of surprises too.

Splatoon wasn’t widely recognized during its first week of released. According to official reports, their sale in Wii U is not what they are expecting. However, with the help of some avid gamers, their sales skyrocketed. This rapid increase of their sales led them to create Splatoon 2.


New Weapons On Display: Splat Dualies

Although their weapons on the previous game are already great, adding a new weapon style is a must. During the event, they showed numerous times on how this weapon will create chaos on the opposing players. Splat Dualies isn’t your ordinary pair of pistols. What’s good about this new weapon is, once it is used, it will suspend its player in the air while throwing paint bombs.

Old Weapons Upgraded

The Ink Roller special attack. Previously, you can only do this attack while standing still or running. Now, you can do it while leaping on the air and bringing down an explosion of ink. The change made on this attack will be very effective especially now that it will cover a lot of grounds.
