Pokemon Sun And Moon: Pelipper Is Now Overpowered, Water Type Pokemon Received Multiple Boost

Another Pokemon who benefited when 7th Generation Pokemon was released is now overpowered. Pelipper is an easy Pokemon to use and him being upgraded will make him a difficult character to deal with.

The release of the new patch and 7th gen Pokemon is Pokemon Sun and Moon did provide a lot of positive things in this game. They were able to introduce numerous new Pokemon, from legendary to Ultra Beast, to new types of Pokemon. However, there were some Pokemon who reaped the advantages when the upgrade happened. One of them is the water type, seldom used, Pelipper.

Prior to the upgrade, Pelipper is treated as a normal Pokemon(which he is). Actually, some of the players hated this Pokemon and don’t want any part of Pelipper. In a recent tirade in one of the Reddit thread, they expose how weak and fragile Pelipper is. If they are given an option to choose between Mareanie and Pelipper, majority of them will choose Mareanie.

Pelipper Is Now Overpowered

With the recent update, Pelipper gained some respect from those players. If we are going to check the difference between Pelipper now and Pelipper before the update, you can immediately tell the difference. The best thing that was added or enhanced with Pelipper is the new drizzle ability.

Pelipper also bears the stab hurricane with an insane base damage of 110. He also boasts a respectable 175 speed which is very useful in his attacks. His special attack also received a boost and although it was not a great increase, it is still very helpful in providing damages. Also, Pelipper can be teamed up with Aranquanid to form, arguably, the best weather/rain dance team in Pokemon Sun And Moon.

Overall, the addition of its new ability and increasing its stats will somehow lure other players to get him on their list.
