Pokemon GO Easter Event Guide: How To Make The Most Out Of It

After several weeks of countless rumors and speculations, it has been confirmed by Niantic recently that an Easter Event is coming in Pokémon GO. The reports said that it should be an egg-siting time for the fans as they are rewarded with lots of new in-game bonuses such as Lucky Eggs now available half-price. Apparently, the Easter Event offers more than that and here's a simple tip on how to make the most out of these bonuses.

According to Otakukart, the event grants double XP for the whole week. It is said that player would be able to earn as much as four times XP during the event's run. Currently, the farming of XP is not difficult since lots of Pokémon are available in the wild with the arrival of Gen 2. In addition, the event offers an increased variation of Pokémon hatching from two-kilometer Eggs, which encourage players to go out and hunt some Pokémon Eggs.

Overall, the new Easter Event is going to benefit almost all players participating in it. For beginners, having a week of double XP might be the best way to do the classic Pidgey grinding strategy to level up faster in the game. With the Lucky Eggs price dropped in the PokéStore, players have another tool to increase their experience gained.

On the other hand, players who have reached level 30 and above are suggested to go out and catch some exciting new Pokémon available in the wild. Lastly, players from rural areas have also better chances at both leveling up faster and catching rarer Pokémon in the process. Some players might be disappointed that there is no price drop on Incubators. However, the event's bonuses are still too good to pass out.

Pokémon GO Easter Event is expected to start today at 1 PM ET until April 20 at the same time.
