Star Wars: Battlefront II is going to take center stage in the big Play event of Electronic Arts at E3 2017 this coming Saturday. Industry observers believe that this is going to be a big year for this video game, considering that the much-awaited Star Wars: The Last Jedi will finally be seen by its die-hard fans on December.
EA Announced Its Release Date
Apparently, the Force is getting stronger again. EA announced that Star Wars fans will get Star Wars: Battlefront II on Nov. 17. And then they will get to view the next installment of the Star Wars space saga only a month later. Isn't this a little too much of the same thing? The answer is no for dyed-in-the-wool followers of Luke Skywalker and company.
A Star Wars Mural Will Be Set Up On E3 2017
Electronic Arts, the game publisher of Star Wars: Battlefront II has rented a good deal of space in the upcoming E3 2017. This space will be decorated with a mural depicting Darth Maul of Star Wars episode one, the red-horned Sith Lord. One of the artwork pieces will also show Rey of Star Wars episode seven. So, it appears that this upcoming video game will be expansive where all the major characters are included and possibly playable?
If fans can still remember, EA released Star Wars: Battlefront I a month before the showing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Now, the game publisher is following the same formula to tie-in Star Wars: Battlefront II with the much-awaited Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Apparently, this formula raked in hundreds of millions of dollars for the game publisher.
The Game Will Span All Three Eras Of Star Wars
As suggested by the artwork that will be displayed on E3 2017, Star Wars: Battlefront II will feature the three eras of the Star Wars space saga. It seems that the gameplay will start in the days of the Republic and run right up to the start of the First Order and the Resistance. It seems that there will be a lot of new technologies that gamers will experience and enjoy in this upcoming video game.
