Big changes that will hit the game

The Pokémon GO development team posted on the official blog for the app last Sunday, announcing the upcoming arrival of the update. According to the patch notes, this coming update will realize what has been leaked prior regarding a daily bonus system. With this latest feature, Trainers be granted rewards and bonuses for the very first Pokémon that they will manage to catch, as well as the first PokéStop visit for each single day. To top it off, a bigger bonus will also be rewarded if a player has played or opened the app for seven consecutive days.

Conquering Poké Gyms and changes to Prestige points

Additionally, the new Pokémon GO update will also grant battle winners rights to conquer a Poké Gym relatively easier than before. This modification will give the winner the ability to place a Pokémon in the open Gym since there will now be a brief period allotted for this purpose after beating the Gym leader of a rival team. Aside from small bug fixes and balances, the update will also be changing the Prestige points that a rival Gym loses for every Gym member that is defeated. The Prestige points that are lost in this new update has significantly been increased. On the other side of the spectrum, training at a friendly Gym will now reward smaller Prestige points to players.
