Ever since it was released in February, Elden Ring has become notorious for its difficulty. Those who have played the game will undoubtedly attest to how hard it is to beat the many bosses you will find. It is a common experience to die over and over again when facing a boss, which makes victory so much sweeter once it happens.
However, there are those Elden Ring bosses that players do not like and believe it to be overrated. Some players have shared their thoughts and opinions on Reddit, specifically in r/Eldenring.
According to redditors, here are the overrated Elden Ring bosses:
Dragonlord Placidusax
First on our list is Dragonlord Placidusax, who you can find in Crumbling Farum Azula. If you are expecting a relatively quick fight against him, you might want to manage you expectations.
Redditor surroundlive_ points out that this boss "has like four different attacks that are all extremely telegraphed and drags the fight out by just disappearing every so often."
Godrick the Grafted
IGN describes Godrick the Grafted as the first Elden Lord you are likely to encounter in the game, as well as the main boss in the dungeon of Stormveil Castle.
According to Redditor azuresou1, the fight with Godrick the Grafted is such an easy one, the Redditor actually described it as disappointing. azuresou1 went on to say in his comment that it is easy to time dodges and that what the the Elden Lord has is "super telegraphed."

Regal Ancestor Spirit
According to an article by Rock Paper Shotgun, the Regal Ancestor Spirit is one of two Ancestory Spirit boss fights you will encounter in Elden Ring. If you want to have the Regal Ancestor Spirit's Remembrance as well as its boss weapon, you are going to have to beat this boss despit it being an optional one.
However, Redditor SaberWaifu finds this Elden Ring boss as one of the overrated ones, describing it as boring. SaberWaiafu listed the following as the reasons why:
Random teleports to the other end of the map just for the sake of it, annoying healing, weird camera lock on the stomach instead of the feet, super low HP compared to other bosses in the same area (Gargoyles), 50% of the attacks feels like you are chasing the boss instead of trying to avoid its attacks.
Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon
You can expect to fight Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon after beating the Red Wolf of Redagon, according to GameSpot. You can expect really great visuals during this boss fight, but Redditor Synthesis56 points out that the first part can get pretty boring.
Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon will summon multiple wolves and even a dragon, among others, but Synthesis56 points out that they are not too difficult to avoid.
Another Redditor, OpenEntrance2758, points out in a reply that magic users will have an easier time fighting against Rennala.
