Overwatch Latest News: Blizzard Releases Doomfist Progression Update On PTR

Blizzard has just announced the release of the progression of Doomfist, the newest character in Overwatch. The latest news indicates that the game developer has announced this on Twitter saying that gamers will be impressed with the additions to the game. This recent update will add a new range of cosmetics to this character.

New Skins And Victory Poses Will Be Added To Doomfist

According to the latest news, the Doomfist progression update of Overwatch will also include several skins and victory poses. All of these new contents will be available when the game is updated later this month. It was only last week when Doomfist was added to the game's PTR when an update was released which implemented several changes and improvements to the game.

The Overwatch PTR was only made available to PC users although Doomfist is not yet widely available on PC and console. Meanwhile, the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game have also been updated. With the addition of the Doomfist Progression on the game's PTR, players will now be able to unlock this character's different cosmetics.

Other Options Are Also Added That Will Resolve Some Highlighting Issues

In addition, the present build of the game's PTR brings in a number of options that will help gamers who are experiencing problems in recording highlights of their game. According to the latest Overwatch news, one of these options is the enabling and disabling of hardware acceleration while recording under the advanced options. Furthermore, with this new update, gamers will find that highlight capturing will no longer impact latency or frame rate when playing the game.

In other Overwatch latest news, Blizzard also made a number of important announcements regarding the Overwatch League. The game developer revealed the first seven team owners that will join the tournament and the actual number of teams that Blizzard hopes to have in the competition. An announcement was also made regarding the manner by which revenue-sharing will be conducted in the tournament.
