Paladins Update: OB37 Patch Is Now Live; Adds The New Champion Sha Lin And More

Hi-Rez Studios has finally rolled out their Open Beta 37 Patch today and it brings several additions to the game including the previously introduced via live stream, the newest champion Sha Lin, The Dessert Wind. Aside from Sha Lin's addition, the developer has also made some changes on the existing champions' stats and loadout cards.

As seen on the Official website of Paladins: Champions of the Realms, a full patch note has been provided containing the details regarding the changes made in OB37 update. The patch note reveals the new champion Sha Lin's set of skills. The new champion uses a long bow which is similar to the current champion, Cassie. His "LMB" is the Long Bow which can be held longer and can deal more damage and travel for a longer distance. Sha Lin's "RMB" is called the Impaler Arrow. It will knock enemies and stun them for 1 second if they collide with the wall.

Sha Lin's "Q" is called Planted. Sha Lin will plant himself in place for 3 seconds increasing his long bow's draw time by 200% and firing continuously. While reactivating, the Planted will cancel the ability. The second ability "F" is called Withdraw. He leaps backwards becoming stealth for 2 seconds and leaving a mirage of himself which will last for 3.5 seconds. Lastly, Sha Lin's ultimate is called the Heat Haze. When activated, he enters the stealth mode granting himself a 30% movement speed for 8 seconds and increasing the draw time of the long bow by 50% faster. In addition, Shalin will leave a mirage each time he fires an arrow during Heat Haze.

The patch notes also made some changes to current heroes Androxus, Buck, Cassie, Grohk, Grover, Kinessa, Pip and Ying. In addition, the contents of the founder's pack were also changed and it has now three tiers which consist of various in-game bonuses.
