Hope is erupting for Disney’s “Girl Meets World” season 4 amid endless cancellation reports. Despite recent reports considered as purely speculations, still, the avid followers of the series hold on to any clue possible that could lead to a possible renewal of the forthcoming season.
Rumors have it that the production for the fourth installment of "Girl Meets World" has already begun. Interestingly, claims are rife that the program’s main characters, Sabrina Carpenter and Rowan Blanchard were seen in New York for their alleged filming.
To the show’s fans, these theories are false. The network nor the series producers have not switched on the green light for the fourth season nor production is in the works. Carpenter and Blanchard don’t have comments as nothing has to be validated.
Although the fake reports have been debunked already, the cast of the sitcom did not stop from pursuing their desire of making season 4 a reality. In fact, Blanchard has taken a major step in pushing the show’s continuation. The young actress reportedly took to Twitter for a powerful campaign. She emphasized that it is crucial for the young generation to be a “voice of hope” and change and learn should take turns from each other. She is joined by her supporters in the hope to “continue to have that chance.”
Furthermore, the 15-year-old star used a hashtag #GirlMeetsWorldSeason4. Showing his backing up on his co-star’s wish, actor August Maturo initiated the hashtag #SaveGMW. As a result, the sitcom’s huge fan base spread the ad in social media. Hopefully, their sincere efforts will bear a successful outcome.
Previously, Blanchard was cited to be “excited” in ending her role as Riley Matthews. With the future of “Girl Meets World” season 4 still uncertain, the young star is speculated to have her alternative plans ready in case the series will be killed off.
As a book enthusiast, she dreams to have her own book published someday. The New York Times even dubbed Blanchard as a feminist advocate.
“I found myself not being able to put something in my diary without thinking, ‘Maybe if this is good enough, I’ll publish it,” Blanchard said.
Her fans are betting that her book will be inspired by her experiences in the popular series.
As of this writing, we can only hope against all hopes that Disney will grant a big wish- “Girl Meets World” season 4 with air date confirmed!
To recall, many factors were presumed to be the cause of the series’ dismissal. Highlighted is the alleged attitude problems of its actors that contributed to the decrease in ratings. Names of Blanchard and Carpenter surfaced as those who mainly exhibited disturbing behaviors, causing Disney to terminate their respective contracts.
Tsk. Tsk. Hopefully, in the soonest time possible, the audience will get a happy treat of information from the press or the showrunners about the show’s highly-anticipated season.
