Nokia Lumia 928 Picture Leaked, Heading To Verizon

Many rumors of the upcoming Nokia Lumia 928 have been flying in the smartphone industry and now a recent Twitter post shows what the smartphone will look like. Expectedly, the Lumia 928 is headed to U.S. carrier Verizon.

A recent report indicates that the Lumia 928 may debut in the U.S. on May 15 and now @evleaks has posted an image of the purported device. The device also has a Verizon Logo on the top-right of the device indicating the carrier of the handset.

Previous rumors indicated that Nokia is planning on a high-end Windows Phone 8 smartphone, which will head towards Verizon. Speculations of new Nokia Lumia handsets have been floating for a while now. Handsets named EOS, Catwalk, Lumia 928 and Laser have been in the news of late. Speculations also suggest that Nokia may launch a refreshed Lumia 920 with an aluminum body.

Market observers believe that the Lumia 928 and the Catwalk or Laser could be the same Nokia device but meant for different carriers. Currently, AT&T is the sole carrier of the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820. Verizon carries the Lumia 822, which is the carrier's version of Lumia 820.

Not much is known about the Lumia 928 but rumors indicate that the smartphone will have an aluminum body and may come in an array of bright colors such as blue, red, white and cyan. The Lumia 928 is also expected to have a better camera with improvements to the flash, enabling users to take pictures in low-light conditions. The smartphone is expected to sport the same 4.5-inch LCD display, 1.5GHz dual core CPU and 32GB drive as found in the Lumia 920.

Nokia has remained silent on the Lumia 928 but with so many rumors about the smartphone emerging in the last few weeks, we hope that Nokia will rest our mind with the launch of the handset soon.
