Nissan Joins The Dark Side With Black Edition Leaf

The call of darkness seems to be a very strong trend in the auto industry nowadays as more and more automakers go dark with black edition vehicles. This time, Nissan joins the trend with its Black Edition Leaf 2017.

The 2017 Nissan Leaf Black Edition Is Limited?

What Is New?

In a report given by News18 , the 2017 Nissan Leaf Black Edition will have the latest generation telematics service from Nissan along with several features that will make it stand out among other Electric Vehicles (EV) as it drives down the road. Buyers can look forward to 16-inch black alloy wheels, LED headlamps and exterior paint finish in liquid black. Illuminated door sills and a rear spoiler will also come with the package as stated in the same report.

Anything Else?

An in-car Wi-Fi hotspot capable of providing Wi-Fi connection for up to eight vehicles will also be available for the first 1000 buyers as reported by Autocar. Other features include a standard 360 degree parking camera and a smartphone app for the Leaf called NissanConnect.

Price and Availability

The price for the Nissan Leaf Black Edition is at $29,010 and it's already set to hit the market on the third month of the following year. Apparently, the 2017 Nissan Leaf Black Edition will only be available in the European market and its limited availability of only several months in production also comes as another bad news for U.S consumers looking forward to this vehicle. Of course, if enthusiasts want it bad enough, importing the dark model is something consumers can take into consideration.
