Dishonored 2 Update: Performance Patch Coming This Week

Bethesda promised players of Dishonored 2 on PC that new patch will be released this week in order to improve the framerate of the game. Also, Arkane studios explained that players should check if their Nvidia cards meet the required system for a hassle-free play.

Dishonored 2 Patch For PC Will Be Available

Arkane Studios posted on Bethesda blog that a PC patch will be released within this week. The studio said, "We have been monitoring the PC forums and social channels and while we're excited to hear that many of you are enjoying the game, we are disheartened that some of you are experiencing PC performance issues on some systems."

In a report on PC Games N, framerates are the concern of the players of Dishonored 2 on their PCs. The framerates seem to be unstable even if the graphics are visually great. Players are expecting the patch to help them play without any trouble with their chosen resolution.

The soon-to-be released patch for Dishonored 2 will include some bug fixes, too. The adaptive resolution will be adjusted in order to fix the framerates. Next, Arkane Studios suggested that players using GPUs like GTX 1070/1080 can play at a resolution of 1440p. Lastly, the AMD users should run the game by 10.16.2 drivers.

How To Fix Dishonored 2 For The Meantime?

Steam users are helping other Dishonored 2 players on PC in order to fix their problems while waiting for the performance patch's arrival. Same with Arkane Studios, it is recommended to check if their GPU is compatible with the game.

The players must download Process Lasso that will allow their CPU to set Dishonored 2 to high automatically. After the installation is complete, the players must click the app and go to Options. Go to Gaming Mode Settings then choose Designate Game before adding the game.

For Nvidia users, the players must go to the Nvidia panel, choose 3D settings and click Global settings tab. Search for power management mode and change it to prefer maximum performance. The players must look for Vertical Sync and have to change it to Adaptive. Changing Program settings seen on the top to select Dishonored 2.exe in the list. Lastly, look for Maximum pre-rendered frames and change it to 1.

Players are waiting for the new performance patch for Dishonored 2. Bethesda and Arkane Studios have promised that the updated patch will fix the bugs and frames. Fortunately, Steam users are helping other troubled PC users in order to fix the problems of the game.
