Wrestling fans are in for a treat when they check-out the WWE Champions mobile game. A new trailer has been released for the game, and it showcases a lot of classic and modern wrestlers including, The Ultimate Warrior, Andre the Giant, The Rock and Undertaker.
According to the trailer, the game is now available in all app stores, and players can all download it for free. Granted the game does not have graphics as impressive as its console title counterparts, but players are still sure to enjoy some wrestling action on their phones while they wait in line or go to the bathroom.
Game Fragger reports that WWE Champions is actually a bit closer to Capcom's Puzzle Fighter, as it combines fighting and puzzle-solving. In the game, players get to build their own unique rosters of WWE superstars and battle for ultimate supremacy in the ring. Players are said to be able to access a roster of over 100 wrestlers, both from the current era as well as the classic.
Each wrestler is also said to come with special abilities and upgrades that players can customize. Signature moves can also be adjusted in-game depending on the player, providing a whole lot of fun for this mobile wrestling experience. Players can also recreate matches from Raw and SmackDown Live - who wouldn't want to see the Rock go toe-to-toe with Steve Austin one more time?
The company behind WWE Champions is Scopely, the same devs who worked on titles like YAHTZEE With Buddies, Wheel of Fortune and The Walking Dead: Road to Survival. Hopefully a wrestling fans (as well as newcomers) will have something to enjoy with WWE Champions. "WWE Champions is packed with unlimited hours of gameplay to entertain both WWE fans and mobile gamers," says Tim O' Brien, Chief Revenue Officer of Scopely.
WWE Champions is available to download for free on Android or Apple device.
