Final Fantasy XV is an open world action role-playing video game that is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game was released worldwide on Nov. 29 and is the fifteenth main installment in the Final Fantasy series.
In Final Fantasy XV, each character can equip up to two accessories that match the series' staples. Noctis, Prompto, Ignis and Gladio can dress up in fully different outfits. On top of that, each outfit actually has a number of stats attached to it. More than just a change of visuals, these costumes play an even bigger role in the game. Below is the list of all the costumes including some story unlock outfits.
Costumes And Outfits For Noctis
Noctis has a larger number of outfits than most of his peers and their effects are more varied to allow for different play styles. The "Prince's Fatigues" is the first outfit that can be unlocked by default. The fact that it adds 20% HP means it is definitely a keeper. Next up, "Prince's Fatigues" (Without jacket) can also be unlocked through default. 20% Strength and 20% Magic is added to Noctis when this is worn.
The "Casual Outfit" can only be unlocked, also by default. It prevents statuses such as Mollified, Disenchanted, Burnt, Frozen and Shocked. Same with the Casual Outfit, the "Casual Outfit (Without Jacket),"offers a +20 critical hit rate. The "Kingly Raiment" is unlocked during the storyline. It adds 30% to the vitality and another 30% to the spirit. Without the jacket, the "Kingly Raiment adds 3% to HP Recovery Rate and 6% to MP Recovery Rate. Unlike the other outfits, the "Royal Raiment" is acquired as a Pre-order bonus or collector's edition item and it gives an additional 25% HP and 25% MP. Without the jacket, "Royal Raiment" adds 30% to magic including infinite stamina. Lastly, the "Thermal Suit" which can be worn during a story quest and is found after completing the game near the power plant adds 20% HP, blocks fire damage and Prevents the burnt status of Noctis.
Costumes And Outfits For Prompto, Ignis And Gladio
Aside from Noctis, Prompto, Ignis and Gladio also have their share of costumes in the game. It is important to remember that when a costume is unlocked for one of them, it automatically gets unlocked for them all.
The "Crownsguard Fatigues," which is unlocked by default adds 20% HP to the characters. Without the jacket, the "Crownsguard Fatigues" gives out 20% to strength and another 20% to magic. The "Casual Outfit" still has the same stats as Noctis' casual wear that prevents Mollified, Disenchanted, Burnt, Frozen and Shocked status. Without the jacket, the same outfit offers 20% critical hit rate. Meanwhile, the "Kingslaive Garb" adds 30% to vitality and 30% to spirit. Without the jacket, it offers 3% HP recovery rate and 6% MP recovery rate. Lastly, the same "thermal suit" adds 20% to the character's HP, blocks fire damage and also prevents burnt status.
