Talking To Everyone
Sometimes, in the back of our minds, we simply want to progress right away and move forward. Actually, this is not a good idea. Not only does it take the fun away, but it also prevents you from experiencing or acquiring new stuff. In the game, it's important that you try to talk to everyone out there. Do this, as much as possible, in every new era or setting. For instance, in diners or locations with various people. Visit them each and look or talk to NPCs that can, in one way or another, give you something interesting.
Be Sure To Reserve Lots Of Elixirs, Potions And Phoenix Down
There's no doubt that one of the most exciting yet challenging feat in Final Fantasy XV is fighting bosses. This kind of fights, no matter how you try to evade, frequently happens. So, in a sense, it's only right for you to be ready and well-prepared. This basically means stocking up the most useful items -- from potions to elixirs to whatnots. These will help you regenerate stat (and health points) in a much faster pace. Besides, you want to ensure that your HP is at max level, as you want to prevent any devastation onward.
Blocking Is Key
In the heat of battle, we tend to be aggressive. We attack from all sorts of angles, without knowing that blocking is actually necessary. Or perhaps, we just simply forget doing it. Remember: most fights in the game are quite long and dragging. And you don't want to reciprocate every hit with potions, as it'll only waste them for nothing. This is where blocking (and even dodging) attacks comes very helpful. Learn to do this efficiently and you'll surely be on the right track. Just keep in mind that the stronger the attacks are, the more compelled you should be to block them. Otherwise, you'll be left dead for good.
Wait Mode Must Be Utilized From Time To Time
There are two sorts of battle modes in Final Fantasy XV. These are the Active and the Wait modes. Anytime at will, players can switch between these from time to time. Now, what you want to do is to use the Wait mode accordingly. Note that this one here allows you to slow down, giving you enough time and window to scan an enemy's weakness and HP. As obvious as it can be, use it to your advantage. Don't just attack an enemy for the sake of doing so. Use the Wait mode to get a better grip of you're about to face.
